While people are busy preparing for the Chinese New Year, my family is busy packing up everything and convincing ourselves that certain rubbish need not be thrown away (cue: oh, but this has sentimental value!). The Big Move might finally be happening the following week, but who knows? As I was telling J this morning, it's been delayed n times; perhaps the CNY might really push my parents to finally move into the new place.
Packing up always makes you uncover many lost treasures from your childhood, and this time I discovered that I was a little artist when I was young. /smirk face/ My mum also dug out my little dress from the teddy bears' pile (we made our teddy bears wear our baby clothes hahahaha) and so I dug out the baby photos to admire my fat arms and legs and what a boy I was when I was a baby/toddler.
I also showed off to my little brother the photo that serves as evidence that I went to participate in some cute baby contest and got the second prize; to this my brother said that he is way cuter than I was. Ok can.
Went on a bunch of outings this week and they were surprisingly fun ones, even though I have concluded that I am more of a stay-in-at-night-to-watch-tv kind of person. Habitat Coffee was really good though. Not the best eggs ben I've eaten but their pasta was really, really good. One of the best I've ever eaten for sure!
Hoping the following week will be better.
