On the road (lesson two/three)

Went for my second and third lessons this week and:

1. Got my first female instructor and I was actually very surprised that female instructors existed at all

2. She yelled at me a lot but she was very nice and encouraging and she also kept chatting with me. She told me that I shouldn't focus on the road too much; I should chat with her instead because it will help me become less nervous. But NO I AM NOT GOING TO PUT YOUR LIFE IN DANGER DEAR INSTRUCTOR I HAVE TO FOCUS

3. Became pretty smooth and stalled a lot less in my second lesson and she said I was doing fine but I am still unable to stop exactly at the stop line idk

4. Learnt how to change gear while driving on the third lesson instead of coming to a full stop to change gear every single time I want to do a turn. I was super happy because it looked and sounded so professional *smug look*

5. Went out on the road for the first time on my third lesson and was basically freaking out most of the time. Was unable to continue chatting normally with my instructor and once a pedestrian appeared at the side of the road and I did an emergency brake and stalled in the middle of the road. After which, said pedestrian DID NOT CROSS THE ROAD.

6. Got honked at for the first time because I signalled to change lane but I didn't even move out or anything ugh MEAN BUS DRIVER

7. My third instructor was berry berry nice and he talked to me about how girls are very annoying while shopping. He also told me "actually you don't stall that much" which made me very happy *grins*

Can't wait to go driving again!!
