But what for?

Don't spend your time trying to give meaning to everything. Don't only do things for a purpose.

Let go. Not everything can be reasoned out, and not everything needs to be done. Don't ask "what for"; ask "why not". You only have that little time to accomplish so much in life, and there's no time for you to ponder about the pros and cons of doing everything. Just do it. Pick up that cardboard piece on the road and dump it in the recycling bin. Offer to give up your seat on the train. Call a loved one and talk about nothing in particular. Hop on a random bus. Go to somewhere you've never been to before. Create your own language and confuse people. Tell a joke and then laugh at your own joke when no one else does. Write a story. Sing a song. Make a mistake, because you can.

Do I really want to spend my life trying not to die by mistake?
